Spector NS5-CRFM Black Cherry Burst 5-String Bass

Up for sale, here’s a beautiful 1999 – 2000 era Spector NS-5CRFM 35″ scale five strings bass (Made in Czech Republic) in Excellent Condition.

This a great example of a transition era from the Stuart Spector Design into the new Spector 2000’s years in a gorgeous Black Cherry Burst finish. This is the first 35″ scale 5 strings instrument in the Spector line and the predecesor of the Euro5 series. The legendary NS design, neck through body, all flamed maple body construction with maple wings. Rosewood fingerboard, 24 frets and mother of pearl inlays.

10.2Lbs, which is fairly lightweight for a Spector NS 5 strings. Pretty well balanced.

The electronics consists of a set of EMG 40DC pickups (9V) with an EMG BTS 2-Band EQ on board preamp. The rest of the hardware: Gold Schiller tuners, brass nut and solid brass Spector bridge.

The instrument is in excellent condition, it has very minimal wear, just a couple of very small slight marks over the jack input and some patina over the bridge, although no dings and no dents. The instrument is entirely free from blemishes or visual defects, the instrument has been lightly used and played with the utmost care. the neck is straight with its truss rod is fully functional and almost no fret wear at all, playing really well all over the fretboard.

The instrument comes with a brand new (not original to the bass but original Spector) black tolex case with its case keys (literally purchased just for this sale).
